Shoreline Coffee + Kitchen

Shoreline is a gorgeous and welcoming cafe. I had a smoothie and a veg sando today and it was delicious, a generous portion and kept me going most of the day. We sat outside in the sunshine and had a wonderful morning. The staff were attentive and chatty. Love this place!!!

Our favourite local spot! We regularly pop in for brunch/lunch and sweet treats which are always delicious and use fresh, quality ingredients. Great coffee to enjoy inside or outside in the sunshine, and we love picking up a good bottle of wine and local produce from the shop next to the café. We absolutely love the variety of evening events they put on as well. The team are always friendly and smiling and are so passionate about what they do for their local community. Can't recommend Shoreline enough :)

DO NOT OVERLOOK THIS PLACE. Amazing food, notably not a cafe, but a real kitchen. It's all in the attention to detail - try the Shoreline Scramble, it's not just eggs, it's the house pickle, the pesto oil. Try 'Tin to table' - you must. Not to mention great coffee and cakes and personal service.

We are writing in response to the review by Brandia Tena (below) as we felt strongly that it is an unfair and inaccurate account of what actually happened. My partner and I happened to be present at the time and the said customer took offence to being asked not to allow her son to touch the cakes on display. The member of staff who made this request was then challenged and accused of being unkind which she had not been. It was an entirely reasonable request based on maintaining good food hygiene and etiquette that one would expect in any reputable eatery. In complete contrast to what was posted, we found the staff to be warm and attentive and the food was delicious- an all round very positive experience and we will certainly be returning. We hope that this unsubstantiated review will not unfairly deter others from visiting this little gem!

Lou and Darius have created such a warm and welcoming atmosphere at their cafe. We went for the Italian evening and enjoyed all the delicious food and wine. A thoroughly enjoyable evening, thank you! Can’t wait until the next event.

I wanted to share my thoughts on the review by Brandia Tena (below). Lou and her team at Shoreline offer the best customer experience ever. She is a hospitality pro and has set a very welcoming tone in the cafe. Shoreline is well loved by their local community for this warm welcome, delicious food and great coffee. Unlike Brandia I 'urge' others to go and support this special little place and think about how important it is for our communities to have these independent gems. Oh and pop next door for a great bottle of wine....then raise a glass to Lou and the gang for working so damn hard to bring everything they offer.
